Standard imports — Draft orders

Practical guide for Excel/CSV work with UPDATE, INSERT and DELETE for draft orders.

1) Quick decision map
Which CodOpera value should I use?
  • UPDATE: adjust existing drafts before converting them to final orders.
  • INSERT: create new drafts (pre-sales, quotes, commercial proposals).
  • DELETE: permanently remove old or duplicated drafts.
Tip: draft orders are ideal to prepare lines and addresses before the final confirmation.
2) Real-world use cases
  • Creating a draft to prepare a sale: useful when you want an order ready to review before charging/confirming. Use CodOpera=INSERT and include at least one line (Line:*), and optionally the customer (Customer: Email) and addresses (Billing:* / Shipping:*).
  • Adjusting an existing draft: when you need to change lines, notes or addresses before completing. Use CodOpera=UPDATE and identify by ID/Name (ID / Name).
  • Removing old/duplicate drafts: when cleaning proposals you won’t use. Use CodOpera=DELETE with ID/Name (ID / Name).
